Today’s world of screen time and distance learning earn mostly negative reviews, but the truth is, we all prefer pictures and videos to words alone. We express ourselves and learn faster through authentic video demonstration.
This presentation will demonstrate how to use video modeling in various settings to improve receptive and expressive language, speech clarity, short-term memory, and demonstration of knowledge. Examples and discussion of techniques will be provided that demonstrate how meaningful video and visual materials can be used to reduce frustration, confusion, wrong answers, and task aversion experienced by the clients/students we treat.
