We had one of the best times on this shoot. The terrain of Utah’s backcountry is a snowmobiler’s dream. Beaver Creek Lodge and Sunrise Resort were our hosts for this round of backcountry thrills. They made our team feel like family and provided a unique experience unlike any other. We stayed at Beaver Creek Lodge initially and were instantly blown away with their knowledge of the area and their guide staff. Beaver Creek Lodge offers guiding services to any rider at any skill level. We learned a ton from them and had a riot. Once we settled into Sunrise Resort, it was obvious that we have to come back with friends and even family. If you are traveling in a large group like we were, they have the space, the amenities and they’ll make you forget about your cares with their breathtaking view.
Kodiak Mountain Resort is a can’t-miss cabin getaway for your next Wyoming adventure! The resort provides its guests with privacy, friendly service, and modern amenities while maintaining the classic “cabin lifestyle” vibe. We appreciated the snowmobile-friendly perks, including plenty of space for your trailer and the relaxing feel of each cabin after a long day playing in the Salt River Range. If you’re not visiting to snowmobile, there are plenty of other recreational activities such as snow-shoeing, cross-country skiing, fishing, horse-back riding, or hiking that are all available to you in Kodiak Mountain Resort’s backyard.
Waking up in #Revelstoke is always an unreal experience, but waking up at Boulder Mountain Resort, followed by Bison Lodge will take your Revelstoke experience to the next level. There is hands down, nothing like it. As we kicked off Season 4, we experienced some of the deepest powder we have ever come across. Joined by Fly Racing athlete, Khan Yong Gee, and Ski-Doo ambassadors, Rob Alford and Carl Kuster, we had the time of our lives pushing ourselves to the limit. Beyond that, we lived it up at two incredible resorts, which included amenities any snowmobiler would be amazed to know actually exist. At the end of the day, we hung up our gear in the drying rooms, enjoyed the personal steam showers and kicked it in the hot tub. Blue bird days or not, it was hard to wipe the smiles off of our faces, even when we were buried under snow.
The Boondock Nation crew’s first stop of the season provides great weather in McCall, ID, but offers unique terrain challenges previously unseen. Cody Monroe joins the crew to show them around his backyard.
The riders head north to the “White Room” of Revelstoke, BC. Iconic views, the freshest snow, and tasty eats; that’s what makes Revelstoke one of the most sought-after snowmobile destinations in the world. Guest riders include Nadine Overwater, Duncan Lee, Colton Olstad, Caleb Kesterke, Richard Broulim, Mason Rutledge and Steve Sill.
It’s a reunion for the riders of Boondock Nation! Linking up with their buddies, Mike Ziebert, and Josh Lacko, on their home turf. Guest rider, Caleb Kesterke, also joins the boys and takes on the Western UP of Michigan in all its natural wonder. Learn more about where to stay, eat and play in the “906”.
After a trip to Idaho, the Boondock Nation Crew heads home to the Midwest to conquer where they began riding snowmobiles: the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Wicked creek bottoms show no mercy, and send sleds tumbling. Watch as the BN Crew pushes the limits in their homeland.
The Boondock Nation crew travels to Sicamous, British Columbia, where they find the best powder days of their lives. The staff at Carl Kuster Mountain Park provide first class lodging and even better snowmobiling.
As we headed towards Sheridan, WY not only were we excited to ride the Bighorn Mountains, but we found ourselves equally excited to experience a true Western town. Filled with history, entertainment and culture you don’t necessarily run into in every sledding destination. Staying at Arrowhead Lodge not only was a stone’s throw away from mountain access but also the historic downtown. While we were there we got to check out Sheridan’s Skijoring event, Luminous Brewhouse, Kings Saddlery, Bighorn Spirits and much more. Sheridan does not overlook the details, watch and see for yourself.
An icy Jackson Hole Hill Climb takes a toll on racers and snowmobiles, tearing them to shreds physically and mentally. The crew then heads up the pass to Togwotee Mountain Lodge for a week of spring riding with other riders in the industry.
Snowmobile Camping is a rite of passage as winter turns into spring and Boondock Nation heads to Star Valley, WY this season to remember some good rides from the year and put in their final ride in challenging conditions.
The passion of boondocking is discussed by those who love the sport. There is an immediate need for the community to band together and become more educated about how our public access is being jeopardized and what we can do to unify our voice.
